I have already filmed several times videos with action figures of Bruce Lee and Mike Tyson. Viewers love these videos. This is an epic confrontation between two legendary personalities that we will never see in real life.

To implement this idea, I bought two original figures. I have not seen anything better in quality. Unfortunately, these figures are made by different brands, so their scale does not match perfectly. Mike Tyson is significantly taller than Bruce Lee, although in reality their height difference is not so big. But I think it's better for the film.

The Mike Tyson figure is made by Storm Collectibles. There are different options. For me there were two of the most interesting: One figure of a young Mike, and the other of an already mature one.

This figure is of excellent quality! Ideal for stop motion video. The joints move easily, but do not dangle, hold the pose firmly. Three heads with different facial expressions. Mike figurine is alive! Here is an example video:

The action figure of Bruce Lee is made by different companies. But most of all I wanted him to be from the movie "Game of Death" in a yellow suit. In my opinion, this is the most recognizable image. I chose an S.H. Figuart Bandai.

I generally consider S.H. Figuarts are the best. Very high quality. Easy to disassemble and assemble. Quality joints. But they are not cheap. Bruce Lee has already endured several shootings. He has 4 facial expressions to choose from. Here's another video example:

If your budget allows, then for shooting stop motion, buy only original figures. They are much easier to work with than fake ones. Fakes often have loose joints, and it is also very difficult to detach and replace spare heads and hands. All this makes it very difficult to shoot. But because of the high cost, I still sometimes buy fake figures. And in other articles I will talk about not bad options.
